House bill File No. 170, entitled "An Act to repeal
section 80, of Article 5, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title 'Appeals and Errors,' sub-
title 'Appeals from the Commissioners of the Land
Office,' and to re-enact the same with amendments'"

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Also favorably with amendments,

House bill File No. 129 entitled "An Act to prevent
persons from unlawfully using or wearing the insignia
distinctive ribbons, membership rosette or button of
the Fraternal Order of Eagles."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Insert in line 2 of section 1, after the words 'added
to,' the words "Article 27 of."

Which was adopted, read a second time and ordered
to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Gill, from the Committee on Printing reported
unfavorably the following order,

Whereas, Under Article 78, Code Public Laws, the
State Printers have been required to print a certain
number of bills, which number has been found to be
inadequate to the wants of the former Legislature; andr

Whereas, The increase in the number of members of
the present House, will tend largely to increase this
defficiency, it is ordered that W. J. G. Dulany & Co.,
State Printers, be authorized and directed to print 100
additional copies of all bills they are now required to
print under the present contract, the same to be paid
for at the rate provided for in Article 78, and the
amount to be taken out of the appropriation for State
Printing for the session of 1904.

Which unfavorable report was adopted.
