Article 77 of the Code of Public General Laws, title

'Public Education,' by adding three sections, under
the sub-title 'School Attendance,' to follow section
138, and to be numbered as 'Sections 139, 140, 141, re-
spectively.' "

House bill, File No. 104, entitled "An Act to amend
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title

"'Crimes and Penishments," by repealing section 47 A,
as enacted by chapter 73 of the Acts of 1896, and re-
enacting the same with amendments, under the sub-
title 'Desertion of Wife or Child,' and by adding
thereto an additional section to follow immediately
after section 47 A, and to be known as 'Section 47 B.' "
Which was read the second time, and ordered to-be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Benson, from Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,

House bill, File No. 123, entitled "An Act to add
an additional section to Article 23, of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, title 'Corporation,'
to be known as 'Section 221 A,' sub-title 'Safe Deposit
Companies,' defining and restricting the terms upon
which trustees, executors or administrators, or other
fiduciaries, renting boxes or safes in Safe Deposit
vaults in this State, shall be permitted to have access
and entry to the same in person or by deputy."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

After the word "Any other State," insert the "Dis-
trict of Columbia or any territory of the United States"
In section 221 A.

engrossed for a third reading.
