A bill entitled "An Act requiring the Maryland &
Pennsylvania K. R. Co. to keep a flagman stationed
during certain hours at the crossings of said railroad
over certain public roads or streets in Harford and
Baltimore counties."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
By Mr. Atkinson,

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 156 of the
Acts of Assembly of the session of 1902, entitled 'An
Act reducing the salary of the County Treasurer for
Kent county, State of Maryland.' "

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Kent delegation and Mr. Buckler.
By Mr. Miles,

A bill entitled "An Act to refund to Lewis M. Mil-
bourne, the bail forfeited in case of State vs. Bundick,
with vouchers attached."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Collins, from Committee on Claims, reported
favorably,

"That a clerk be appointed to the Baltimore city
delegation, who shall also be a stenographer and type-
writer and shall furnish his own machine."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

"That the salary of said clerk be $3 per day,
pay to commence on day of qualification."

Which was read and adopted by yeas and nays, as
follows :
