Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions,, attested
by the Department Commander and Assistant Adju-
tant General, be transmitted to the Legislative Com-
mittee, to His Excellency, the Governor, the both?
Houses of the Genesal Assembly, and the Commander
in Chief, General Jno. C. Black.

deavors to have the duties on building material tem-
porarily abolished for the benefit of the fire sufferers
in Baltimore city.

Joint Resolution requesting the Senators and Repre-
sentatives from the State of Maryland in Congress to»
use their best efforts to secure one of the National En-
campments as provided by the Act of Congress, in
Garrett county, Md.
