On motion of Mr. Linthicum, it was

Ordered, That the State Librarian furnish the Balti-
more city delegation with a copy of the Code of Pub-
lic General and Local Laws; also a copy of the Balti-
more city Charter and the Laws of Maryland passed at
the session of 1900 and 1902.

Which was read and referred to the Library Com-
mittee.

On motion of Mr. Linthicum, it was

Ordered, That a clerk be appointed to the Baltimore
city delegation, who shall also be a stenographer and
typewriter, and shall furnish his own machine.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

Mr. Goslin submitted the following message to the
Senate:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

February 12th, 1904.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We propose, with the concurrence of your Honor-
able Body, that when the General Assembly adjourns
to-day it stands adjourned until 11 o'clock a. m.,
February 16, 1904.

Chief Clerk.
Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Drumm,

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 180, of Article 1, of theCode
of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title
'Allegany County,' for the purpose of securing to the
residents of said county the right of trial in the dis-
trict in which they may reside, or in which the con-
tract has been made or the alleged violation of law
has taken place.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Al-
legany delegation.
