TUESDAY, February 9th, 1904.

The House met at 12 m., and was opened with prayer
by the Rev. Frank D. Orrick.

Present at the call of the roll the following members:

The Journal of February 8lh was read and ap-
proved.

ORDERS.

On motion of Mr. Miller, it was
Ordered, That Messrs. Bald and Godwin be excused
from to-day's session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Pairo, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Baker be excused from atten-
dance at to-day's session on account of important
business.

Also,

Ordered, That Mr. Bingham be excused from at-
tendance at to-day's session on account of important
business.
