Ordered, That Mr. Miller be excused from to-day's
session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Godwin, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Tennant be excused from attend-
ance at to-day's session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Bosse, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Baker be excused from attendance
at to-day's session on account of business.

Also,

Ordered, That Mr. Trager be excused from attend-
ance at to-day's session on occount of business.

On motion of Mr. Baker, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Kerbin be excused from to-day's
session on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Haines, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Fuss be excused from to-day's
session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Fitzsimmons, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Stevenson will be excused from
to-day's session on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Wilson, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Walls be excused from attend-
ance of to-day's session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Riggan, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Milbourne be excused from to-
day's session on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Wells, it was
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims pay to W.
Meade Holladay, the usual per diem for twenty days
services as Journal Clerk, as per order of the Speaker.
The services being from the 6th to the 25th of January,
inclusive.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Pairo, it was

Ordered, That the Chief Clerk be instructed to have
the resolution of sympathy extended by the House to
Delegate John W. Williams, engrossed at a cost
not to exceed twenty dollars ($20.)
