House bill, File No. 678. entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments sections 7, 9 and 10 of
Article 72 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title 'Oysters,' sub-title 'Culling,' and to
add to said Article 72 four new sections to be known
as 'Sections 69, 70, 71 and 72,' of said Article, provid-
ing for the appointment of a Shell Fish Commissioner
and defining his duties.' "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In line 1, strike out all after the word "Act" of the
title of the engrossed bill and insert in lieu thereof the
following: "To add to Article 72 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "Oysters" four new
sections to be known as sections 69, 70, 71 and 72 of
said Article providing for the appointment of a Shell
Fish Commissioner and defining his duties.

Also strike out sections 1, 7, 9, 10, 2, 69, 70, 71, 72
3 and 4 of the engrossed bill and insert in lieu thereof
the following:

Section 1. And be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That four new sections be and the
same are hereby added to Article 72 of the Code of
Public General Laws to follow section 68 and to te
known as sections 69, 70, 71 and 72.
