for each one million ($1,000,000) dollars of paid up
capital stock or fraction thereof in excess of one
million ($1,000,000) dollars.

"And every corporation having no capital stock so
examined, snch a sum of money as the treasurer may
deem just and reasonable. If any corporation shall
not, after due notice, pay any such charge the. trea-
surer may apply the proceeds of the sale of, or the
dividends on any stock, or the interest on any bonds
and mortgages in his hands, deposited by such corpo-
ration, to the payment of such charges, with interest
at the rate of six per cent. (6 per cent.,) if such cor-
poration shall fail to pay such charges as herein re-
quired, and there are no capital stock, bonds or mort-
gages in the treasurer's hands, the dividends or in-
terest of which shall be applied in payment thereof,
the treasurer shall report to the Attorney-General the
failure of such corporation to pay such charges, the
Attorney-General shall thereupon bring an action in
the name of the State for the recovery of such charges.

"85 F. In case any such corporation now or here-
after doing business in this State, shall refuse or neg-
lect to make the deposit hereinbefore provided, the
fact shall be reported by the said treasurer to the
Attorney-General, who shall thereupon, without delay,
institute such proceedings as may be necessary to en-
join and restrain such corporation from transacting
any business in this State, and the Court before which
such proceedings shall be begun, shall be authorized
to make such order or decree, and to issue such process
in the premises and to enforce compliance by such cor-
poration with, the provisions of this statute, or to re-
strain the transaction of business by such corporation
in this State, as it may deem proper.

"Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect from the date of its passage."
