ment of a Notary Public, to reside in Walkerville,
Frederick county, Maryland."

Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Frederick delegation.
By Mr. Goslin,

A bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of
money to erect in St. Anne's Cemetery in the city of
Annapolis, a monument to the memory of Thomas G.
Pratt, late Governor of Maryland, and also to place in
the Executive Chamber in said city, a portrait of the
said Governor."

Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.

A bill entitled "An Act to extend to Baltimore
county the operation of section 152, 153, and 154, of
Article 33, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'Elections,' sub-title, 'Primary Elections.' "

A bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 27 of
the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Crimes and
Punishments,' by repealing section 47 A, as enacted
Dy chapter 73 of the Acts of 1896, and re-enacting the
same with amendments, under the sub-title 'Desertion
of Wife or Child,' and by adding thereto an additional
section to follow immediately after section 47 A, and
to be known as 'Section 47 B.' "
