orably,
Senate bill, File No. 384, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re enact with amendments chapter 450 of the Acts
of the Regular Session of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1902, the said chapter 450 being 'An Act
to repeal and re-enact with amendments sections 63
and 64 of Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws/
title 'Charles County,' sub-title 'Fences.' "

Mr. Walls, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
Senate bill, File No. 848, entitled "An Act to auth-
orize and empower the County Commissioners of
Queen Anne's county, to build and maintain a draw
bridge over Kent Narrows, to issue bonds not exceed-
ing $20,000 for the purpose of constructing said bridge,
to levy annually a sum on the taxable property of
said county, to provide for the maintenance of said
bridge and said bonds as they mature, to prevent any
traction engine crossing and to authorize said County
Commissioners to make rules and regulations for the
use of said bridge and protection of same."

Mr. Dowrs, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably, with amendments,
Senate bill, File No. 213, entitled "An Act to add
additional sections to Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title 'Anne Arundel County,' under a new
sub-title 'Eastport,' to be called 'Sections 130 A, 130
B and 130 C.' "
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
In line 11, after the word "appoint" strike out the
word "two" and insert the "one."
In line 12, strike out the words "additional police-
men for the better," and insert the words in lieu
thereof "a policeman for the."
In line 13, after the word "county" strike out the
words "and the same policeman" and insert the words
"such policeman.
