Senate bill. File No. 387, entitled "An Act to auth-
orize and empower the Board of Public Works of Mary-
land to collect the insurance upon State Tobacco Ware-
houses Nos. 1 and 2, and to place the same to the credit
of the Tobacco Warehouse Fund and to either rebuild
a modern warehouse on the present site of State
Tobacco Warehouses Nos. 1 and 2, and the property
owned by the State adjacent thereto, or to sell said
property or lease the same for such sums as they may
think right, and build a Tobacco Warehouse in some
other locality of Baltimore city selected by said Board
of Public Works."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.

Senate bill, File No. 370, entitled "An Act to
authorize the County Commissioners of Washington
county, to subscribe for capital stock in bridge com-
panies in said county."

Senate bill, File No. 413, entitled "An Act to add
a new section to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "City of Baltimore," sub-
title 'Charter,' said section to follow immediately
after section 87 of said Article and to be known as
'Section 87 A', relating to the powers of the Water
Board.

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Baltimore city delegation.

Senate bill, File No. 391. entitled "An Act to ap-
propriate the sum of $2,500, or so much thereof as
may be necessary, to be expended by the Board of
Public Works in repairing the wharf property adjacent
to and occupied by State Tobacco Warehouses Nos. 1
and 2, and in replacing necessary furniture and fix-
tures in any of the State Tobacco Warehouses in Bal-
