all street, electric or cable railroad companies and all
persons running or operating cars propelled by elec-
tricity or cable in the State of Maryland, for transpor-
tation of passengers, to provide separate cars for
white and colored passengers without any discrimi-
nation or difference in the quality or convenience or
accommodation in such cars."
