Article 2, Section 3, Constitution of Maryland.

We have appointed five members as a committee to
escort your Honorable Body to the Hall of the House
of Delegates for the purpose aforesaid.

We have appointed Messrs. Goslin, Cockey, Collins,
Carroll and Henkel.

Which was read, assented to and sent to the Senate.

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

January 6th, 1904.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates;

We have received your message proposing that when
the General Assembly adjourns to-day, it stands ad-
journed until Tuesday next, 12th instant, at 7.80
o'clock p. m., and concur therein.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message proposing that the
Senate shall meet the House of Delegates in the Hall
of the House of Delegates at 2:30 o'clock p. m., this
6th day of January, 1904, when the Speaker of the
House of Delegates shall preside, and in the presence
of both houses open the returns of election for Gover
