Printers, for the sessioti of 1902, for similar work, said
sum to be taken out of the appropriation for State
Printing for the session of 1904.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.

On motion of Mr. Buckler, it was

Ordered by the House of Delegates, That William
T. Wilkinson, be paid the sum of $400 to defray
counsel fees and incedential expenses in contested
election case of George R. Garner vs. William T.
Wilkinson, as shown by bill hereto attached.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.

On motion of Mr. Godwin, it was

Ordered, That the Select Committee of Baltimore
city and county delegations, report House bill 393 at
once.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Kirbin, it was

Ordered, By the House of Delegates of the State of
Maryland. That the late Governor, John Walter
Smith, be and is hereby requested to sit for his por-
trait, to be hung in the Governor's Chamber.

Be it further ordered, That the sum of $500, or so
much thereof as may be necessary, be paid out of the
funds apportioned for the expenses of the Legislature
for said portrait.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.

On motion of Mr. Ray, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Tighe, be excused from to-day's
session, on account of important business.
On motion of Mr. Bosse, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Becker be excused from this
morning's session, on account of important business.

Mr. Oursler offered the following message:
