such supplies, stationery, blank-books, and materials
of a like character as may be needed by the Court of
Appeals and Library of the State, the Executive De-
partment, the Comptroller's Department, the Treas-
urer's Department, the Tax Commissioner's Depart-
ment, the Insurance Commissioner's Department, the
Land Office Department, the General Assembly of
Maryland, for the year during which the same may be
in session, and all other State Departments not specifi-
cally herein mentioned."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.

Also,

Senate bill, File No. 348, entitled "An Act to auth-
orize and empower the County Commissioners of Queen
Anne's county to build and maintain a draw bridge
over Kent Narrows, and to issue bonds not exceeding'
$20,000, etc."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Queen Anne's delegation.

Also,

Senate bill, File No. 581, entitled "An Act to amend
Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Car-
roll County,' sub-title 'Fish,' by adding a new section
thereto, to be known as 'Section 39 A.' "

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

Senate bill, File No. 863, entitled "An Act for pur-
chasing a lot of ground, if necessary, and for the erec-
tion thereon a new school building in the Third pre-
cinct of the Fifth Election District of Anne Arundel
county, in that part of said district known as South
Raltimore, for furnishing said building, and to auth-
orize and require the Board of School Commissioners
of Anne Arundel county to borrow money on the
credit of Anne Arundel county for that purpose, and
to require the County Commissioners of said county
to endorse the bonds to be issued for that purpose,

and to levy on the assessable property of the Fifth
