PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
Mr. Dodson presented petition of C. H. Hoddaway,
and 101 other citizens of Talbot county, requesting
that the Great Choptank River be closed to the catch-
ing of oysters by scoops, scrapes, drags or dredge or
similar instrument.
Which was referred to the Committee on Chesa-
peake Bay and Tributaries.
Mr. Stump presented petition of 824 residents of
Allegany county asking for the passage of laws regu-
lating the taking of fish in the waters of Allegany
county.
