way shall bring its cars to a full stop before crossing
Maryland avenue in the town of Hyattsville, in going
northwardly and southwardly through said town, and
the conductor and motorman shall give loud and dis-
tinct warning by bell or otherwise of each cars ap-
proaching to said crossing."
Strike out "section o" and insert the following :
"Section 5. And be it further enacted, That it shall
be the duty of said railway to provide a ticket office
at some place in Hyattsville, the most important and
central point 'along said road in Prince George's
county at which shall be sold on the first and last
business days of each month, monthly commutation
tickets of whatever kind were receivable for fares
over any part of its line in Prince George's county,
Maryland, in the month of January, 1904, and it shall
be unlawful for said railway after the passage of this
Act to discontinue the sale of such monthly commuta-
tion tickets to the passengers of said railway in said
county, or by any further regulations to increase in
any way the cost of such monthly commutation tickets
now in use on said line, or which were in use on said
Toad on or since January 1st, 1904, by patrons of said
road in its route from Berwyn, Maryland, to the line
of the District of Columbia, and thence from said line
to the United States Treasury Department, Washing-
ton, District of Columbia."

ported favorably,
House bill, File No. 380, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments section 8 of Article 53,
of the Code of Public General Laws of the State of
Maryland, title 'Landlord and Tenant,' sub-title 'Dis-
tress for Rent.' "
