Which was read a second time and ordered to be en
grossed for a third reading.

Also favorably,

House bill File No. 65, entitled "An Act author-
izing County Commissioners to erect sign boards at
cross roads."

Mr. Feaga from Select Committee reported favorably,

House bill File No. 58, entitled "An Act to provide
for a General Index of the Equity Records of Allegany
county from the year 1816 to July 1, 1904.

Mr. Johnston, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill, File No. 53, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact section 34 of the Charter of the town of
Gaithersburg, in Montgomery county, as enacted by
chapter 526 of the laws of the General Assembly of
1898."

Mr. Milbourne, from Select Committee, reported
favorably,

House bill, File No. 67, entitled "An Act to repeal
chapter 238 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1902, entitled 'An Act to authorize the
Commissioners of Somerset county, to pay the costs
incurred by Joseph Muirr, who was returned without
any fraud, by the Judges of Election of said county,
as county commissioner-elect of said county, in his
contest with L. Wesley Beauchamp, before the Circuit
Court of Somerset county, and the Court, of Appeals
of Maryland, in which contest the office was awarded
to the said L. Wesley Beauchamp, and the said Joseph
Muir was compelled to pay the costs of said contest."
