On motion of Mr. Amiss, it was

Ordered, That Harry Green and Ross Miller, West-
ern Union Telegraph Messengers; George Davis and
Arthur Cole, Postal Telegraph Messengers, be paid the
sum of $25 each, for services rendered the members of
the House during this session.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

The Chair distributed the following messages from
the Senate :

Senate bill, File No. 824, entitled "Au Act to incor-
porate The Fidelity Appraising and Auditing Com-
pany of Baltimore city."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

Also,

Senate bill, File No. 241, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments section 45 of Article
72 of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Oysters,'
sub-title 'State Fishery Force.' "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Chesapeake Bay and Tributaries.

Also,

Senate bill, File No. 296, entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the Sykesville and Springfield Water and Rail-
way Company."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

Also,

Senate bill, File No. 319, entitled "An Act to en-
large and extend the powers of the Mercantile Bank
of Baltimore, and to increase the number of its direc-
tors."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

Also,
Senate bill, File No, 312, entitled "An Act to amend
