tion 59 C, 59 D, 59 E, 59 F and 59 G.' "

engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Hopkins, from Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

House bill, File No 752, entitled "An Act to add
an additional section to Article 10, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Dorchester
County,' to be known as 'Section 228 A,' under a new
sub-title of 'Fraud,' on livery stable keepers, provid-
ing for the punishment of persons hiring horses or
vehicles from livery stable keepers in Dorchester
county, to go a certain distance and using said horses
or vehicles for a greater distance."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Bond, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill, File No. 764, entitled "An Act for the
better protection of game, birds and song birds in Cal-
vert county and St. Mary's county."

engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Feaga, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill, File No. 460, entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the town of Barton, Allegany county, Mary-
land."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Crawford, from Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

House bill, File No. 755, entitled "An Act to regu-
late the building of bridges across the Monocacy river
within one and a half miles of the Iron Stone Bridge
in Frederick county, Maryland."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend the bill by striking out 'Section 6,' and in-
sert the following:
