Peace of Dorchester county, or before the Circuit
Court of said county (where the offense is committed
in the waters of Honga river) shall be fined a sum of
not less than $100 nor more than $300, or be imprisoned
in the House of Correction for a period of not less than
six months nor more than twelve months, or both in
the discretion of the Judge or Justice of the Peace
trying the same.

"Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage."

ported favorably, with amendment,

House bill, File No. 185, entitled "An Act to amend
Article 33, entitled 'Elections,' of the Code of Public
General Laws as re-enacted by chapter 202 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1896, and by
chapters 71 and 866 of the Act of the General As-
sembly of 1900, and by chapters 2 and 3 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1901; and by
chapters 133, 136, 296, 522 and 545 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1902; and by add-
ing thereto nine additional sections under the sub-title
'Corrupt Practices,' to follow section 154 as now re-
enacted."
