House bill, File No. 526. entitled "An Act to em-
power the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to
issue the stock of said corporation, to an amount not
exceeding six million dollars ($6,000,000), for the pur-
pose of supplying additional means for defraying the
expenses and costs of carrying into execution the
plans of improvements, adopted or to be Adopted, un-
der the tern^ of the Act to create the commission for
Baltimore city, known as the 'Burnt District Com-
mission,' passed at the January session of the General
Assembly of Maryland, in the year 1904."

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."

Also,

House bill File No. 527 entitled "An Act to provide
for a special election in Baltimore city for the sub-
mission to the legal voters of said city of an ordinance
(the same to be so submitted at such time and place
as shall be fixed thereby pursuant to the provision of
section 7 of Article 11 of the Constitution of Mary-
land) authorizing the issuance of stock by the said
corporation to an amount not exceeding six million
($6,000,000) dollars, for the purpose of supplying
additional means for defraying the expense and cost
of carrying into execution the plan of improvements
adopted or to be adopted under the terms of the Act
to create a commission on the burnt district of Balti-
more city, and for other purposes, passed at the Jan-
uary Session of the General Assembly of Maryland,
in the year 1904."

Endorsed : "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."

Also,

House bill, File No. 59, entiled "An Act to regulate
the practice of barbering in the State of Maryland, to
establish a State Board of Examiners to provide for
the sanitary inspection of barber shops, and to pro-
vide penalties for the violation thereof."
