8 D,' and to repeal section 12 of said chapter 523 of
the General Assembly of Maryland, and re-enact the
same with amendments."

Mr. Crawford, from Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

House bill, File No. 727, entitled "An Act to add a
new section to Article 11 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title 'Frederick County,' sub-title 'Treas-
urer,' to immediately follow section 451 A, to be desig-
nated 'Section 451 AA,' relating to the appointment
and compensation of a Clerk to the County Treasurer."

engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Feaga, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably, with amendments,

House bill, File No. 261. entitled "An Act to repeal
section 1 of chapter 832, of the Acts of 1900, entitled
'An Act. to regulate the compensation of the County
Commissioners of Allegany county and to re-enact the
same, so as to read as follows :"

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

After the word "office" in section 2, add, "and said
commissioners shall be allowed four dollars per day
for inspecting roads, but shall not exceed twenty dol-
lars in one year."
