A bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to Ar-
ticle 43 of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'Health,' sub-title 'Adulteration of Food and Drink,'
to follow section 81, and to be designated as 'Section
81 A.'"

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Hygiene.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Benson, from Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,

House bill, File No. 707, entitled "An Act to en-
large the powers and amend the charter of the Jacob
Tome Institute, a corporation incorporated under the
General incorporation Laws of this State, and whose
charter was amended—"

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Also favorably,

House bill, File No. 660, entitled "An Act to amend
the charter of the Kee Mar College of Washington
county, Maryland, a corporation duly incorporated
under the General Laws of Maryland, by changing its
corporate name and adding powers thereof."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Also favorably, with amendments,
Senate bill, File No. 152, entitled "An Act to en-
large and extend the powers of the Stevensville Sav-
ings Bank of Queen Anne's county, Maryland, and:
authorize an increase of capital stock tand also an in-
ciease of the directors of the board of directors."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Strike out section 7 and insert the following in lieu
thereof.

"Section 7. And be it further enacted, That the
Stevensville Savings Bank of Queen Anne's county, is
hereby authorized to receive on deposit moneys,
checks and commercial paper from any corporation,
