and re-enact with amendments sections 228 of Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Mont-
gomery County,' sub-title 'Taxes,' as enacted by chap-
ter 102 of the Acts of the Assembly of 1900."

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by
yeas and nays."
Also,

House bill, File No. 450, entitled "An Act, to regu-
late the erection, construction and maintenance of
private and public buildings in the Twelfth and Four-
teenth Election Districts of Baltimore county, and to
authorize and empower the County Commissioners of
said county to adopt rules and regulations in reference
thereto, and to provide for the appointment and com-
pensation" by fees of Inspectors of Buildings for said
district, and require that the erection and construction
of all buildings in said districts shall be under their
supervision and subject to the regulations of said
County Commissioners, and further to provide f or the
construction of fire-escapes for school houses through-
out Baltimore county."

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."

House bill. File No. 291, entitled "An Act to add
an additional section to Article 27 of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws of the State of Maryland, title
'Crimes and Punishments,' sub-title 'Disturbance of
Public Peace,' to be known as 'Section 67 A ' "

nays as amended."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In the last line but 1 of section 1 strike out all after
the word "provided'' and insert in lieu thereof "the
provisions of this Act shall apply only to Prince
George's county."
