A bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter and
to extend the powers and change the name of the
Chestertown Water Company of Kent county, a cor-
poration formed under Article 28 of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws of Maryland, entitled 'Corporations."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
By Mr. Durham,

A bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board of
Police Commissioners for the city of Baltimore, ap-
point and employ additional officers, to be known re-
spectively as the 'Superintendent of Police, Signal
and Telephone Service' the 'Superintendent of the
Bureau of Identification,' and the 'Assistant Superin-
tendent of the Police Signal and Telephone Service.' "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Baltimore city delegation.
By Mr. Butler,

A bill entitled "An Act to provide for the examina-
tion and auditing of the accounts and proceedings of
sundry County Boards and officers of Queen Anne's
county, the appointment of the auditing committees
therefor, and for the publication of the reports of
same."
