PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
Mr. Dodson presented petition from Chas. W. Tar-
button and 186 other citizens of Talbot county, recom-
mending the prohibition of catching oysters with
scoops, scrapes or dredges in any of the waters in
Talbot county.
Which was referred to the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries.
Mr. Harry presented petition of F. J. Bartholow and
32 other persons asking for the passage of a bill pro-
hibiting the sale of intoxicating liquors within two
miles of school house at Bartholow, Frederick county,
Maryland.
Which was referred to the Committee on Claims.
Mr. Stump presented petition from residents of
Barton protesting against the passage of an Act to in-
corporate the town of Barton, Maryland."
