privileges conferred by this Act shall be operative
until the municipal authorities of any city or town in
Howard county, or the County Commissioners of
Howard county, having jurisdiction, shall first by an
ordinance or resolution, permit the company aforesaid
to exercise the powers and privileges herein conferred
and under such provisions and restrictions contained
in such ordinance or resolution.

"And provided, further, that the said company shall
be subject to any law or ordinance that may be passed
by the municipal authorities of any city or town in
Howard county, or the County Commissioners of
Howard county having jurisdiction for the filling up
or restoring streets or roads to their normal condi-
tions."

the charter of the German American Fire Insurance
Company of Baltimore city, by increasing its capital
stock, enlarging its powers and giving it perpetual

Senate bill, File No. 28, entitled "An Act to auth-
orize and direct the Comptroller of the State Treasury
and the County Commissioners of Baltimore county,
respectively, to refund to George Brehm and Henry A.
Brehm, copartners, trading as George Brehm & Son,
money paid by them for liquor license, granted to
Amon Dorsey, for the years 1903, 1904, which license
was never taken from the clerk's office of the Circuit
Court of said county."
