Committee on the Judiciary.

A bill entitled "An Act to regulate the wide tires on
vehicles used for the transportation of loads on the
public roads of Caroline county, and to prescribe
for the penalty for a violation of the same."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Caroline delegation and Mr. Butler.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Johnston, from Judiciary Committee, reported
favorably,

House bill, File No. 356, entitled "An Act to regu-
late the appointment of special policemen upon the
application of corporations and persons."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Also favorably,

House bill, File No. 611, entitled "An Act to add an
additional section to Article 27 of the Code of Public
General Laws, title 'Crimes and Punishments,' sub-
title 'Sabbath Breaking,' to be known as 'Section 247
A,' to follow immediately 'Section 247,' applying to
Washingtn county."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Also favorably,

House bill, File No. 208, with the recommendation
that it be referred to the Judiciary Committee, en-
titled "An Act to repeal chapter 517 of the Acts of
1900, being an Act to add a new section to Article 1
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Allegany
County,' under the sub-title 'Taxes,' to follow section
230 of said Article, and to be numbered section 230
A."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
