Dickinson late of this County was attached to answer unto Jacob:Mayle Mercht of a Plea Contra: } of trespas on the Case &ca. — And whereupon the Said Jacob by Peter Dent his Wm: Dickinson:Dft Attorney Complaineth that whereas the Said William the 22th. day of May in the year of ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ our Lord 1693, at Monocan within the Jurisdiction of this Court was indebted to ye Said Jacob in the Sum of two hundred thirty five Pounds of Porke being for Sundry goods & Merchandizes by the said Jacob, to the Said William before that time Sold & delivered, as by a perticuler accot thereof here in Court produced may appear & the Said Wm to the Said Jacob in manner aforesd being indebted, did assume upon him Self and to the Jacob faithfully promise that he the Said Wm. the Same to the Said Jacob, when requested would well & truly Content and pay.
