The Condicon of the aforesd Recognizance is Such that if the above bound Katherine Barroch doe pay twenty five dayes

Worke with diet & tools when demanded pr Court and be of the good behaviour to all their Maties Liege People of this Province

dureing this Courts pleasure as also pay Cost of Sute, & prosecute Thomas Wilson with effect at or next County Court to be —

holden the Second Tuesday in June next then ye foresd Recogniz void Otherwayes to be & remaine in full force & vertue.


 

Their Maties                               The said Susannah this day being by the grand Jury presented by the Grand Jury

        Contra        }                    for Basterdy The sd Susannah appearing in Court did Confess the fact and

                                                        made Oath in Open Court that Gabriel:Powell was the ffather of her late deceased

Susannah: Church                      Basterd Child. Ordered sd Susan. pay as a ffine twenty five dayes worke diet and

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~                        Tools and that She give Security for the Same & for her behaviour & fees —

Whereupon Came sd Susannah with her two Securities (viz) Gabriell: Powell & Walter Read And the said Susannah

did acknowledge & Confess her Self to owe & be indebted unto their Maties in the Sum of tenn pounds Sterling money & her two

Securities aforesd in the Sum of five pounds a piece like money, all due to be leavied on their goods & Chattels lands & Tenemts

for their Maties uses &ca.

The Condicon of which Recognizance is Such. That if the above bound Susannah Church pay twenty five dayes

worke diet & tools when pr Court demanded, and that she be likewise of the good behaviour to all their Maties Liege People

of this Province dureing this Courts pleasure & pay Cost of Sute Then ye abovesd Recogniz void, else to remaine in full force



Ordered by the Worll. Court that Gabriell: Powell. Give good security for his good behaviour. &ca.

Whereupon Came Said Gabriell. with his Security Thomas Powell. And the said Gabriel did acknowledge & Confess himself

to owe and be indebted to their Maties the Sum of Tenn pounds Sterling & the Said Thomas in the Sum of five pounds

like money due to be leavied on their goods & Chattels lands & Tennemts for their Maties uses &ca .

The Condicon of the abovesd Recognizance is Such that if the above bound Gabriell Powell, be of ye good behaviour and

abearance to all their Maties Liege people of this Province dureing this Courts pleasure & pay all Cost of Sute accrued by

Said Susannah Church that then the Recognizance to be void & of none effect otherwayes to be & remaine in full force &ca.

          March 15th: 1693/4 Court then held pr Maties Justices of ye Peace for ye Cnty

            of Somerset in ye Province of Maryland( ) H:J. R:W. W:W. Jk.SH:E:H J:K Courts adjourned till tomorrow at eight a Clock.

   then Ordered the Sd Page Appear in June Court to answer &ca.
