mr Samll. Hopkins letter to ye Court being read, & Considered. It was Ordered that Stephen:Page pay Eliz.Lawrence

ffyne (viz) twenty dayes worke &ca. towards the Makeing the New near Road from ye fferry to Snow hill & Sea Side

Edmd: Mcdonnells 50: dayes worke last Court Ordered to & for sd Worke.



Uon Reading the Warrant agt Andrew: Chappell for accusing Jane: ye Wife of Dormann: Olandman for

bewitching him; the Sd Jane having no Evidence agt sd Chappell ye matter was pr Court dismist _____


 

John: Ocain his Runaway time Anno. Domi. 1687 . In: 87         3 dayes.

  And then Carryed away with him two Nigroes – – – –                     4 dayes

              When he run away in March 1690: Then for hurt done too.

              The Taylor Walter Evins & for bringing him home I paid

              four hundred pounds of tobacco in goods to his Content. – } tobacco 400:

  The aforesd accot being read in Open Court, in ye audience of the Said Cain, who then Confest to the Said

  accot And therefore Order was pr Courte granted agt sd Cain for sd Runaway time according to Act

  of Assembly and for ye Tobacco with Cost, alias Executio //

Upon ye Petion agt Amos Parsons dft. Jno. Mcknitt plt as appears in lib fo: 46: Both parties this day apprd

the Sd Mcknitt in Open Court made Oath that he Stood in fear that he the sd Amos would doe him harm either

in his Body or Estate // - - - -And thereupon the Worll. Court Ordered that he the sd Amos Should give good Security

for his good behaviour &ca. - - - - Whereupon Came the said Amos & his two Securityes Thomas Beauchamp

and Wm Warwick And the Said Amos did acknowledge and Confesse him Self to be indebted unto their Maties

in the Sum of tenn pounds Sterling money & his Securities aforesd in the Sum of five pounds a piece like money

all due to be leavied on their goods & Chattels Lands & Tennements for their Maties uses &ca. ___________

The Condition of this Recognizance is Such that if the above bound Amos Parsons be of the good behaviour & abearance

to all their Maties Liege People of this Province, & more especially to John: Macknitt dureing this Courts

pleasure as also pay his fees &ca. that then the abovesd Recognizance to be void, & of none effect, Otherwise

be & remaine in full power force & vertue. //




              Ordered likewise Said Amos Pay Costs upon ye Ordr & Sumons upon Contempt of sd matter

              (viz) in refuseing to obey sd Sumons &ca.
