The Condicon of which Recognizance is Such that if the above bound Patrick M^cdonnell shall well & trully

Save keep & defend this County from being any wayes indempnified from all Charges & trouble that might ensue

by reason of One Basterd Child of Eliz: Hines begott (as said) by sd Patrick, as also to be of the good behaviour and

abearance to all their Maties liege people of this Province dureing this Courts pleasure, as also pay Cost of Sute then

the above Recognizance to be void & of none effect otherwayes to be & remaine in full power force & vertue – –

The humble Petion of John: M^cknitt humbly Sheweth. To the Wor^ll. y^e Justices of the Peace of Somerset County in Court

Sitting. That one Amos: Parsons hath a Dogg that is accustomed to Seaze and bite Cattel whereby Several of his Neighbors

Cattel is bitten and laimed, and p^rticularly y^r Petione^r hath three Cowes much damnified by y^e biteing of the Same Dogg

and the Said Amos although often required to take up his Dogg and keep him from doing more damage obstinantly

refueseth. May it therefore please y^e Worpp^s. to take Some Courses, that y^r Petioner & others maybe no more damnified by

the Said Dogg, and y^r Petioner as in duty bound Shall ever pray &ca. –

         The abovesd Petion being read, it was by y^e Wor^ll. Court Ordered that Amos Parsons make his p^rsonal appearance
