Sr/ I John Cole of Accamack County in Virginia doe appoint & authorize yw to be my lawfull Attorney in Somerset County Court in the Province of Maryland to officate as my Attorney in my name against any prson whatsoever in all Causes offensive & defensive & what yw doe therein according to Law this shall be your Warrant, as Wittness my hand & Seal this 8th- day of August 1693. Ordered that mr Stephen: Horsey pay the worke due for Jane: Woodhams ffine towards the mending the farthermost bridge beyond mr Wilsons.
Ordered by the Justices in Court Sitting that the Overseers of each hundred doe keep & mentaine their Maties highwayes twenty feet wide well Cleared & grubbed, as well above as below and that they begin their sd worke ( g) by the tenth day of October next according to act of Assembly.
