The Court being Calld this following Comission was read. and a Proclamation to prorogue ye Assembly .
Maryland Ss// William & Mary by ye Grace of God of England Scotland ffrance & Ireland King & Queen defenders of the faith &ca. To all persons to whome these presents Shall come greeting. Know yee that we have Comitted to our trusty and wellbeloved Ephraim:Wilson. Gent. Sheriff of our County of Somerset our said County with the appurttenances to be by him kept dureing our pleasure So as he render unto us yearly our firme dues & answer unto us our just rights and for all other things belonging to the Office of high Sheriff of high Sheriff of our said County, before our Chief Justices of our Said Province of Maryland. Given at our Citty of St. Marys, under the great Seal of our Said Province: Witness our Selves the fifteenth day of July in ye fifth year of our Reign &ca annoge 1693 //

Whereas the present Generall Assembly of this Province Stands prorogued to ye twentieth day of this Instant July which Said day drawing near at hand, & no urgent or emergent occasion (relateing to the State & wellfare of this Province or other wise Conduceing to their Maties Service)appearing for ye Conveining of ye Said Assembly at ye time appointed as aforesd I have therefor thought fitt, againe to prorogue the said Assembly, and the Same if hereby further prorogued to ye four & twentieth day of August next ensueing, at which Said four & twentieth day of August next, as well ye Severall & respective members of their Maties Counsel nominated and appointed within this Province, as also all & Singular ye Delegates & Deputies of ye respective Counties of this Province by ye ffreemen thereof thereunto elected & Chosen, are hereby in their Maties Names Straightly required (all - -inses Sett a part) to make their personell appearance at ye Citty of St. Maries, to doe & Consent to Such things as shall then & there (by ye favour of God) happen to be Ordeined for their Maties Service, and the good & Welfare of this their Province whereof let all & every the respective Sheriffs of the Severall and respective Counties of this Province make publick Proclamacon in ye most publick & Convenient places within their respective Counties. Given at ye Citty of St Marys the third day of July Anno Domini 1693 in ye fifth year of ye Reign of our Soveraign Lord & Lady King William & Queen Mary God save King William & Queen Mary
Isaac Boston brought his Servant Boy John:Ewin to have the Courts judgmt whether sd Ewin is a Taxable prson or not and the said Ewin is by the sd Court judged a Taxable prson & ordered to be put in Pocomoke List of Tythables - - The Severall Constables this day gave in their Lists of each Taxable prson in their Several hundreds.
