Lands and Tennemts for their Maties uses  &ca. _________  The Condicon of which
Recognizance is Such that if the above bound Thomas:Williams be of the good behaviour
and abearance to all their Maties liedge people of this Province dureing this Courts
pleasure as also pay ye Cost of Sute, Then this Recognizance to be void & of none effect
Otherwayes to be and remaine in full power force & vertue .
 
William:Willmott Aged twenty Six years or there abouts declareth that mr Tho: Jones Some
time in the last of May ano. Do. 1692. Did Send up to Snow hill Towne, a percell of
Cyder, with a letter to mr Peter:Bodkin, in which letter the sd Jones, desired Bodkin to
make Sale of the Cyder, writeing in his letter that it was worth 10lb. pr gall. but to-
take 8lb pr gall.if could gett no more.  The Said Jones Signified that he had made
a Bargaine with Ja.Mynard, and that if he lett him have it, that he should take good
Security for it. which when the Said Mynard understood, he went a board the Sloop &
did taste of the Same, & did not like it, whereupon after Some discourse, the sd Mynard
bought of Peter Bodkin two Caske containing two hundred galls or there abouts and
the remainder of the Cyder the Said Peter Bodkin, took & putt in his own Store house
the Cyder was Sold to the Said Mynard at 8lb, pr gall. & further yr Deponent saith not.

mr Tho: Jones plt. on pt of ye Dft                and sd Willmott made Oath to ye Deposition abovesd

Capt. Henry: Smith & Matthew: Scarbrough. to the truth thereof.
 
Memorandum.  That this day to Witt the 15th: day of Mar June ano. Dom 1693
mr Jno. Webb Innholder gave Bond with Matt: Scarbrough Security for 1200lb. tobacco penally
(500lb ? ): to be pd to his Excelly the Governr at or upon ye 10th. day of October next ensueing ye date
for one years Lycence
Likewise Andrew: Whittington gave Bond ut Supra with Peter Dent & Sam:Worthington to
be pd to his Excelly ut Supra.
 
Likewise James Maynard gave Bond John:Webb Security to his Exlly ut Supra. C    C
