At a Court held the 18th:day of March by their Maties Justices of ye
Peace for the County of Somerset in ye Province of Maryland ano 1692/3
 
Their Maties                                                  The Defendt being prsented pr Grand Jury (was this?)
          Contra                                       }          day Calld, who appeared in Court, the matter (being      )
Edward: Fowler                                 agt sd ffowler dft, the worll Court remitted ye (Same) the
~   ~   ~   ~   ~   ~                                 Said ffowler paying Cost of Sute . - - - - - - - - -
 
Their Maties                          The Said Coleman being to this Court by Recognizance Comd (to)
          Contra                                       }          appear, the sd Dft appearing, was then Ordered to give New
Ellis: Coleman                     Security for himself & Damarias his Wifes appearance at our next
            ~   ~   ~   ~   ~   ~   ~             County Court to be holden the Second tuesday in June ._________
 
Whereupon Came the Said Ellis Coleman with his two Securities (viz)
John: Kellam; & Thomas: Morris Tinnman and the Said Ellis did by way of Recognizance ---
acknowledge himself to owe & be justly indebted to Our Soveraign Lord & Lady King William
& Quee  the just Sum of One hundred pounds Sterling money of England, & the Said Kellam and
Morris did likewise acknowledge themselves indebted to their Maties aforesd in the Sum of fifty
pound a piece like money aforesd all due to be leavied On their goods & Chattels Lands and
Tenments for their Maties uses &ca.
 
The Condicon of the abovesd Recognizance is Such that if the abovebound Ellis Coleman
and Damarias his Wife doe make their prsonal appearance before our Justices of or next Court to be
holden the Second tuesday in June then & there to answer to all Such things & matters as Shall be then  &
their Objected agt him On behalf of their Maties & touching & concerning the death of One Darby
then the Recognizance to be void & of none effect otherwayes to be & remain in full power force & vertue
Evid Sworn in Court were Antho. Jones: Wm Bowden. Ge: Banam. Corn:Gourde & John:Watts.

Ordered that Wm: Cord & Robt: Pirrie Clear the Seaside Road forthwith.

Ordered that Each Justice of the Peace for this County (be Sumoned) to appear (at our Court house)
