Their Maties .                                    The Said Eliz:Larrance dft. being at ye Barr upon tryall for
        Contra                                         }          the aforesd fact (viz)  for  having a Basterd Child, She the
Eliz. Larrance                                    Said Elizabeth Confessed the fault wholy referring her Self
~     ~      ~       ~                                  to the worll. Court.  The Court Orders sd Eliz. to pay twenty dayes
worke diet & tools towards the mending Colemans Bridge.  Whereupon Came George Banum
& did acknowledge in Open Court to pay the sd twenty dayes &ca. and Court Charges.
Ordered that John:Goddin doe See the sd worke prformed //

Contra                         }          County upon their Oaths doe prsent Jone:Needham for
 Jone: Needham                                 that the Said Jone, hath wickedly shamefully & Sinfully
~   ~   ~   ~   ~    ~                                Comitted ffornication & born a Basterd Child. to ye dishonor
of God, the evill Example of others, agt their Maties Peace & agt the form of an act of
Assembly in that Case made & provided. the Clerke of presentments prayes judgmt on the
Said Act by the Said act is provided.  Dent Clk of prsentmts.____________________
 
Indictmt being read the Said Jone Confessed the fact & Said John:Poore is the ffather of
her (then) Basterd Child (Ordered)   Poore appr next Court to answr to Maties &ca  Subp: Jone
Ordered Jone Needham pay 20 dayes work (diet & tools) for her fine when pr Court demanded
Ordered the Sd Jone Serve (then) Said Master mr Stephen Horsey for One year for her fine and
damages  mr Stephen Horsey assumes in Court to pay the (agreed) 20:dayes worke when
