( 173 ) To their Maties Worll Justices of the Peace for the County of Somerset in Court (Sitting) The humble Petion of John:Hepworth humbly Sheweth ____ That yr Petioner was bound to his good behaviour in 9ber Court last past which Petioner humbly prayes his Bonds maybe remitted, and as in duty bound Shall ever pray. &ca. The abovesd Petion being read Proclamacon was three times made in Open Court and the Said Bonds to the sd Hepworth was pr Court remitted To the Worll Justices of their Maties Peace for the County of Somerset in Crt Sitting The Petion of Robert Downs humbly Sheweth. ________ That whereas your Petioner & his Wife November ninety one was bound to the good behaviour your worps petioners hath appeared every Court & hath been of the good behavior to all their Maties Subjects & liege people, as I hope none will, or can declare agt me or my Wife yr worps petioner Craves wee may be released of our Bonds & yr Petioners as in duty bound Shall ever pray Petion Read. Sheweth &ca. __________ That Richard:Bright deceased left your Petioners Wife (viz) Anne:Bright in the hands of Cornelius Ward One Breeder which breeder has Severall times been demanded. he likewise left yr Petioners wife in the Custody of Samuel:Alexander. One Iron pott, pott hooks & hangers, Six pewter spoons now to keep, which yr petioner has likewise demanded, but both the sd Ward & Alexandr utterly refuses the Same to deliver. Your Petioner humbly Craves that yr worps would take the premisses into Consideration & that Orders might pass agt the sd Ward and Alexander, for those detained goods, which the Record makes appear to be justly due to yr Petioner, and as in duty bound Shall pray &ca. Petion being read, it was pr Court Ordered that Cornelius Ward appear next Court to answer Complaint of sd Tysdale. Alexander being prsent assumed to appear C To the worll Bench of Somerset County Court the humble Petion of Ursula:Heath Widdow humbly Sheweth That John Shipway ( ) did leave & bequeath unto my Child Mary Heath a Tract of Land Called Deep lying (on the head of) Monokin River the best part of which Tract being on the South Side of the (Said) branch of the said River |
