And whereupon the Said David by Peter Dent his Attorney Saith that the Said
ffrancis the last day of June in the year of our Lord 1690 at Pocomoke within ye Jurisdiction
of this Court by his Certain Bill Obligatory which the Said David with the Seal of the
Said ffrancis Signed bringeth here into Court the date whereof is the day & year aforesd
acknowledged himself to be bound to the said David in the full and just Sum of eight hundred
pounds of tobacco and Cask to be paid to the Said David at Some Convenient Landing Between
the head of Pitts Creek & Rehobeth Towne in the County aforesd on or upon the tenth day of
October next after the date of the Said Bill Nevertheless the Said ffrancis, the said Sum of
Eight hundred pounds of tobacco, according to the tenor of the Said Bill, but the Same to pay
hath denyed, & doth Still deny to the damage of the Said David of 1600 Pounds of tobacco
& thereof he brings his Suite.                                                                                                     {Jno. Doe

   This Bill bindeth me ffrancis Gunby of Somerset County in Maryland Joyner my Heirs
Execcutors and Admrs to pay or Cause to be paid unto David Hazzard of the Same County
Planter, or to his Certaine Attorney  his Heirs Extors Admrs or Assigns, the full Sum or qt of
Eight hundred pounds of good Sound Merchantable tobacco & Caske to be paid, at Some Convenient
Landing between the head of Pitts his Creek and Rehobeth Towne in the County aforesd
On or upon the tenth day of October next after the date hereof as witness my hand and
Seal this last day of June Ano. Dom. 1690                                                           signum

ffrancis Gunby therein Named Sign Seal and deliver,  The Said Bill as his Act & deed to
David Hazzard.  Sworne before me.  Wm: Anderson.

September ye 16th. 1691.  This day mr Robert Scott the other Wittness to the within Bill made oath
in Open Court that he Saw the Same Sealed & delivered as the act & deed of ye wthn named Davis Hazzard
