     And whereupon the plt Comes and Sayes that whereas the defendant did (entertain)
the plt his Attorney at Law in a Suite depending Between Ballard plt & Piper dft
in this County Court in which Said Suit the plt did appear for the deft. and then the Said
Defend^t did faithfully assume to Satisfie and pay the Ordinary fees allowed by the
Court and Since the Said Defend^t hath utterly refused to Satisfie the Said Ordinary fees y^e
which is One hundred pounds of tobacco, though in March Court last past the plt as formerly
having Ordered the said One hundred pounds of tobacco to Andrew: Whittington y^e
Said Defend^t did faithfully then promise to Comply with the Said Order. Yett Since
the Said Deft fraudulently & Craftily intending to deceive the plt. of the Same, hath
as Said is denyed payment to the losse & damage to the value of 200^lb: of tobacco and

    the said Lawrence the 11^th day of 8ber in the year of o^r Lord 1690: at Pocomoke
Within the Jurisdiction of this Court was indebted to the Said James in the Sum of One
thousand Seaven hundred and ninety two pounds of tobacco, as by a p^rticular acco^t thereof
being for Sundry goods & Merchandize by the Said James to the said Lawrence Sold and deliver^d
as by a perticuler acco^t thereof here in Court may appear, and the Said Lawrence to the said
James in manner aforesd being indebted did assume upon himself and to the Said James B
faithfully promise that he the Said Lawrence the Said Sum of 1792 Pounds of tobacco the
