And whereupon the Said Henry by Peter Dent his atto^rney Saith that the Said
Heugh the 12^th: day of Aprill in the year of our Lord 1690. at Monocan within y^e
Jurisdiction of this Court was indebted to the Said Henry in the Sum of Seaven hundred
and four pounds of Porke being the ballance of a Certaine acco^t. for Sundry goods &
Merchandizes by the Said Henry to the Said Hough Sold & delivered and the sd Heugh
to the Said Henry in manner aforesd being indebted, did assume upon himself and to
the Said Henry faithfully promise, that he the Said Heugh the Said Sum of 704=
Pounds of Pork when he should be requested would well & truly Content & pay. Never
theless the Said Heugh his promise and assumption aforesd not regarding but minding
& fraudulently intending him the Said Henry in this behalfe to deceive & defraud the sd
Sum of 704 Pounds of Porke to the Said Henry hath not paid but hath hitherto refused
and doth Still refuse to the damage of the Said Henry of 1400 Pounds of Porke and
