William and Mary by the grace of God of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland King and Queen defenders of the faith &c. To Thomas Tull of Somerset County in the behalfe of his Sonn John Tull. Whereas: Richard Brittain of the said County deceased. We doe therefore grant unto you the sd Thomas Tull full power & authority to Admr all and singular the goods chattels and creditts of the said deceased, and to demand collect and leavy and in legall manner require and receive all and all manner of debt and debts due and owing to the sd deceased, & well and faithfully to dispose the same. And out of the goods chattels and credits of the deceased which have may or shall come to your hands or posession, well and truly to pay the debts due by the sd deceased so far forth as the same will thereunto extend and the law will charge you, according to the true value of the sum thereof. You having first taken your oath well and truly to Admr the same, And to make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the goods and chattells and creditts of the said deceased, which have may or shall Come to your hands posession or knowledge (Appraised in money) and a true and just accompt of and upon yr Admrn and to exhibit both into our County Court where wills are proved. Touching which Inventory you are presently assigned to performe or at furthest at or before the second tuesday in June after the date hereof, and an accompt with in twelve months from the date of these presents.And Lastly we doe hereby Constitute,Ordain and appoint, you the said Tho. Tull Sole Administrator in the behalfe of his foresd Sonn. John:Tull of all and singular the goods chattels & credits of the said deceased. Know all men by these presents that we Thomas Tull Robert: Catlin and John: More. Planters. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ of the County of Somerset and Province of Maryland Gentm. doe acknowledge & Confesse or Selves to owe and are indebted to their Maties Wm. & Mary King & Queen Over England &c. the just Sum of Sixty pounds. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sterling money of England, and for the true performance of the same to be well and truly paid we bind us and each of us our Heirs Exters and Admrs to their Maties their Heirs or Successors firmly by these presents in testimoney whereof we have hereunto Sett our hands and seals this 23 day of March in the 3d. year of their Maties Reign. & in the year of or Lord God One thousand Six hundred and ninety . ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ The Condition of the above sd Obligation is Such that if the above bound Thomas Tull, doe well and truly observe and satisfie all and every the will of Richard Brittain deceased, who lately dyed intestate, yett made a Nuncupitive will as appears proved upon Record in Lib: A.W. fo. 65. wherein the said deceased hath left John: Tull Sonn of the above bound Thomas Tull his personall Estate, which sd Estate the sd Thomas: Tull in behalf of his sd Sonn hath obteined letters of Admrn upon, obliging him Self firmly by these presents, to take Care of and manage to and for the best advantadge propper use and behoof of him the sd John:Tull, God sonn & Heir to the sd deceased, and shall well and faithfully dispose of the same, to him the sd Jno. Tull when the Law shall require the same, or to his Heirs Extrs Admrs or Assigns, without fraud or delay, that then this obligation to be void and of none effect otherwayes to be & remain in full power force and vertue Thomas: Tull .
