8 In The name of God Amen This Second day of September being in bodily health and Sound and perfect memory prayse be given to god for y Same and knowing y uncertainty of this life on earth and being desirous to Settle things in ordr. doe make this my will & testament in manner & forme following that is to Say first & principally I Commend my Soul to almighty God my Creator assured beleeving yt I Shall receive full pardon and free remission of all my Sins and be Saved by the pretious death & Merritts of my blessed Saviour & redeemer Christ Jesus and my body to the earth from whence it was taken to be buried in Such Convenient place as I thinke fitt and touching Such worldly estate as the Lord in mercy hath Lent me my will & meaning is that y Same Shall be imployed and bestowed as hereafter by this my will Expressed And first I doe revoke renounce frustrate and make void all wills by me formerly made: And declare and appointe this my last will and Testament: Item I doe ordr: and ordaine that A parcell of Land yt goes by the Name of Prices Vineyard and Another parcell of land Called the Agreement Shall be equally devided between my Loving Daughters Margarett Price and Ann Price Item I doe ordr yt as for Plantation and houseing they Shall have equall Share while they are better provided: Item I leave a Marsh Called Murkle Meddow Containing three hundred acres for my Loving Daughters Margaret & Ann and they to have Equall Shares of the Same for range. Item I doe ordr: and ordaine that if incase that Margarett and Ann Shoulld die without issue yt all the abovesd. land and Marsh to returne to my Cossin James Price and his Item I Leave my Loving wife Mary Price the plantacon houseing and Land and Cattle Mares and their encrease and hoggs household Stuffe and goods that I am possessed with as long as She Continewes a widowe but if She does Marry to have but her thirds and the rest of all house hold and horsses to be equally devided betweene Margarett Price & Ann Price Item I Cossin James Price one young Mare and as for ye tuition of my Chilldren I leave it to my well beloved Wife Mary Price to doe with them as She thinks Convenient as wittnes my hand and Seale this 2d: day of September 1688. Signed Sealed & delivered James Price (Seale) in y pr:Sence of us This Proved in Cort pr James Prise & Patrick Mitchell who John Tyler James Prise testified they See John Tyler witnes y Same Patrick Mitchell Jno: West depty: Clerke Intr: on record y Maryland Sommersett County Ss: William & Mary by the grace of God of England Scotland france & Ireland King & Queene defenders of the ffaith &c To Mary Price of Sommerset County greeting Whereas James Price of the Said County deceased Wee doe therefore give & grant unto you the Said Mary Price full power & Authority to administer all and Singuler the goods Chattles and Creditors of the said deceased And to demand Collect and Leavy and in Legall Manner require & receive all and all manner of debt & debts due & oweing to y Said deceased and well & faithfully to dispose of the Same and out of the goods Chattells and Creditts of the deceased which have may or Shall come to yor: hands or possession well & truly to pay the debts due by the said deceased So far forth as the Same will there unto extend and the Law will Chardge you according to the true vallue of the Summe thereof; you having first taken yor: oath well & truly to ad= minister the Same and to make or Cause to be made a true & perfect Inventory of all and Singular y goods & Chattels and Creditts of the Said deceased which have may or Shall Come to yor: hands possession or knowledge (appraysed in money) and a true and Just account of and upon your administration therein and to exibitt both into or: County Cort: where wills are proved according to power given by a Certaine ordnance made the last assembly Lawfully authorized touching which Inventory you are presently assigned to performe or at furthest at or before the Second Tuesday in June now next ensueing and an account within twelve months from the date of these presents and Lastly wee doe hereby Constitute ordain and appoint you the Said Mary Price - administratrix of all and Singular the goods Chattles and Creditts of the Sd: deceased Signed by ordr: of Court this Eleaventh day of March in y first year of their Royall Maties: Reigne over England &c.
