74 - Know all Men by these Presents that wee Mary Noble and Richard Kemble & William Robertson of Somerset County and Province of Maryland doe acknowledge & Confesse our Selves to owe & are indebted unto their Maties William & Mary King & Queene over England &c the Just Sum or Two hundred pounds Sterling money of England And for the true performance of the Same to be well & Truly paid wee bind us and each of us our heires executors & admrs: to their Maties. their heires or Successors firmly by these presents in Testimoney whereof wee have hereunto Set our hands & Seales this fourth day of ffebruary in the Second year of their Maties Reigne and in the year of our Lord God one Thousand Six hundred and Ninety / The Condicon of the abovesaid Obligacon is Such that if the above bound Mary Noble doe well & Truly observe and Satisfie all & every the will of Isaac Noble deceased wch: will beareth date the fifteenth day of September one Thousand Six hundred & eighty and ffive as well to pay all & every the Debts of the Said deceased upon ordr: had and obtained from their Maties: Justices of the Peace in Court Sitting as also to observe the Clause & Clauses in the Said Lettrs. of administration and to make noe waste Sale or destruction in off or upon the Reall estate of orphants Vizt dwelling houses out houses Lands woods orchards and fences observing that Law entituled an Act for preservation of orphants reall estates And Lastly To keepe harmless & indempnifyed the Justices of the Peace of the Sd: County for Probate of Wills & graunting of administrations and all other the officers there in Concern ed? that then this obligation to be void & of none effect otherwise to be & remaine in full power force & virture ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Signed Sealed & delivered her in the Sight & presence of Mary X Noble (Sealed his marke Henry H ffreackes Richard Kimbell (Sealed marke his David Browne William R Robertson (Sealed Stephen Luffe marke ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ This Indenture made the Sixth day of october in the xiith year of y Dominion of the Rt honr:ble Charles Lord Propry: of the Province of Maryland & Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c and in the year of our Lord God one Thousand Six hundred Eighty and Eight Betweene Lawrence Crawford Late of Northampton County in Virginia Mr:cht. of the one part And Sarah White of Somerset County in the Province of Maryland widowe whole & Sole executrix of y last will & Testament of John White late of the Sd: County of Somr:Set of the other part Wittnesseth That whereas Cæcilius of Noble memory over y Province of Maryland & Avalon &c by his Deed of graunt undr: undr: y great Seale used in the said Province of Maryland for graunting of Lands there bearing date at the Citty of St: Maries the four & Twentieth day of ffebruary in the ffour & thirtieth year of the Dominion of his Sd: Lopps: y Rt: honr:ble Cæcilius over Maryland &c Annoq Dom: 1665 Did for y Consideration therein mentioned Graunt to William Stevens of the County of SomrSet & Province of Maryland gentl: all that Tract of Land Called Partners Choice Scituate Lieing & being in y aforeSd: County of Somr:Set Lieing & being on the easterne Shore on the North Side of Pocomoke river bounded as ffolloweth beginning at a marked red oake Standing by a parcel of Land taken up by Phenias Whitte & running from the Sd: oake North east by a marsh Called Partners Marsh Six hundred Perches to a marked white oake Standing near unto y h(ead) of the aforeSd: river for bredth thence with a Line drawne North west unto the woods (for) Length five hundred thirty four perches to a marked red oake thence with a Line drawne Southwest |
