Satisfied and paid and for every part & parcell thereof doth acquitt & discharge the above named William
Brittingham his heires and assignes forever. And by these presents have given granted bargained
Sold enfeofed and Confirmed And doe by these presents absolutely and freely give grant bargain
Sell enfeofe and Confirme unto the aboveSaid William Brittingham and to his heires for Ever the
Same aforesaid Land Called Line Lott Conteining as aforesaid fifty acres. To have and to hold
the Said ffifty acres and pr:misses Called Line Lott with the appurtenances herein or hereby
mentioned or intended to be granted bargained & Sold unto him the Said William Brittingham his
heires and assignes To the only proper use & behoofe of the Said William Brittingham his heires
& assignes forever And the Said Joseph Staton for himselfe his heires executrs: & administrators
and for the Said Jane his wife doth Covenant grant and agree to and with the Sd: Wm: Brittingham
his heires and assignes by these presents that they the Said Joseph Staton and Jane his wife
or one of them have in him her or themselves in and to the Land & pr:misses aforesaid a good Sure
perfect and absolute estate of inheritance in ffee Simple to them & theire heires and they or one
of them have in him her or themselves in and to the Land and pr:misses full power & Lawfull
Authority to Convey the Same to the Said Wm: Brittingham his heires and assignes in manner &
forme aforesaid for and notwithstanding any act by him the Said Joseph Staton or any of them to the
Contrary done And that for and notwithstanding any Such Act done as aforesaid he the Said William
Brittingham his heires and assignes Shall & May from henceforth for Ever hereafter quietly
and peaceably have hold occupie possesse and enjoye the Said Land & pr:misses and every part
& parcell thereof free & Clear & Clearly acquitted exonerated & discharged off and from all and all
manner of bargaines Sales guifts grants Titles Troubles Charges debts and incumbrances
whatsoever and of and from all Joyntures Dowries and of and from all the Title of Dower of the
Said Jane thereunto and Service wch: from henceforth Shall become due & payable to the Chiefe Lord
or Lords of the ffee or ffees of the pr:misses onely excepted & foreprized And further the Said Joseph
Staton for himselfe his heires executors and administrators and for the Said Jane his wife doth
Covenant grant & agree to and with the Said William Brittingham his heires and assignes by these
presents That he the Said Joseph Staton and Jane his wife and theire heires and all other persons
whatsoever any estate haveing or lawfully Claiming in or to the pr:misses or any part thereof
by from or undr: them or either of them Shall and will at any time hereafter Duering the Space of
Seaven years from henceforth to be accompted at the reasonable request & at the Costs & Charges in the
Lawe of the Said William Brittingham make & grant Such further & other assurance & assurances and
Conveyances in the Law for the further & more perfect assuring & Conveying the Sd: pr:misses
to him the Sd: William Brittingham and his heires as by him or his heires or their Councel Learned
in the Law Shall be reasonably devised or advised & required if it be by ffine feofement recovery
release Confirmacon or by acknowledgemt: of these presents or otherwise in(Witness whereof) the parties
aforesaid to these Indentures interchangeably have put to theire hands & Seales the Day & year~
