( 203 ) March 12th: 1691/2. - - - - - - - - - - Maryland Somerset County Sc. William and Mary by the grace of God of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland King and Queen.defenders of ye faith &ca. To Thomas: Dixon of Somerset County greeting. Whereas Robert: Dukes Deceased. We do therefore grant unto yw the said Thomas: Dixon full power and authority to Admr all and Singular the goods Chattels & Credits of the said deceased, and to demand colect and leavy, all and all manner of debts due and owing to the said deceased and well and faithfully to dispose of the Same, and out of the goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased, wch have may or shall come to your hands or posession, well and truly to pay the debts due by the said deceased So far forth as the said will extend and the law will Charge yw. according to the true value of the Sum thereof, yw having first taken your Oath well and truly to Admr the Same. And to make or Cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and Singular the goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased, which have may or shall Come to your hands posession or knowledge Apprased in money, and a true and just accompt off and upon your Administration herein, and to exhibit both into our County Court where wills are proved, Touching which Inventory you are presently assigned to perform or at furthest at or before the Second tuesday in June next ensueing, and an account within twelve months from the date of these presents, And lastly we doe hereby impower, Constitute, Ordain and appoint you the said Thomas: Dixon Admr of all and Singular, ye goods Chattels and Credits of the Said deceased this eight day of March in the fourth year of their Maties Reign, William & Mary by the grace of God of England Scotland ffrance & Ireland King & Queen Defendrs of the faith &ca An. Dom. 1691/2: Teste Jno. West Clr Cur. Maryland Somerset County Sc Wee doe hereby impower yw Capt. William Coulbourne and mr William: Planner Senr to Appraise the goods and Chattels of Robert: Dukes decd: you having first taken your Oaths before mr Thomas Jones One of their Maties Justices of the Peace for the County of Somerset. And you are to Certifie the true value of the said goods and Chattels appraised in money under your hands and Seals into our County Court to be holden the Second tuesday in June next after ye date here of. this by Order of Court the 8th. day of March in the fourth year of their Maties Reign William & Mary by the grace of God of England, Scotland, ffrance and Ireland King and Queen Defenders of the faith &ca Anno Domin. 1691/2: Teste: Jno. West Clr Cur. Know all men by these presents that we Thomas Dixon. William: Coulbourne & Isaac: Horsey - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - of the County of Somerset and Province of Maryland doe acknowledge and Confess our Selves to owe and are indebted unto their Maties King William and Queen Mary Over England &ca the just Sum of one hundred - - - - pounds Sterling money of England which we promise to pay to their Said Maties their Heirs or Successors and for the true performance of the same to be well and truly paid, we bind us our Heirs Execcutors, and Admrs. firmly by these presents, in testimony whereof we have hereunto Sett our hands and Seals this 9th. day of June, in the 4th. year of their Maties Re ign. Anno Dom. 1692 The Condition of this Obligation is Such that if the above bounden Thomas Dixon, doe well and truly Admr, upon the Estate of Robert Dukes deceased, as well as to pay all and every the debts of the said deceased, upon Order had and Obtained from their Maties Justices in Court Sitting So far forth as the said Estate will extend or the law require
