Maryland Sc. Know all men by these presents that I William Aylward being now bound Over to the
Collony of Virginia for divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving, have made Ordained
and in my Stead and place put and Constituted, and by these presents doe make Ordain and in my stead and
place put and Constitute my Loving friends Henry: Lynch and Robert: King of Somerset County Gentl. my
true and lawfull Attorney and Assignees for me and in my name, and to my use, To ask demand Leavy -
recover & receive by all lawfull wayes and means whatsoever and from all and every person & persons
whatsoever, whom it doth shall or may Concern all and every Such Sum & Sums of money or Tobacco, and
all debts, dues duties and demands whatsoever, which are Owing payable or belonging unto me by Bond
Bill account or otherwise, giving and by these presents granting unto my Said Attorney all my full power
and lawfull authority Concerning the premises, all and every person or persons whom these presents doth
or shall Concern their and every of their Execcuters and Admrs, Lands and Tennements goods and Chattels
if Sued, shall be to Sue, arrest attach, Seize, Sequestor imprison & Condemne, and out of prison to deliver
and to appear before all and all manner of Judges and Ministers of the Law, and to Compound Compromit
Conclude agree recover and receive, and of the recoveries and receipts or upon, and Composition or other
agreement acquittances or any other discharges in my name, to make Seal and as my Deed to deliver, and One
Attorney or more under them to make Substitute and revoak, and generally to doe, Execute prosecute and
determine, all and every Other act and Acts, thing and things whatsoever in or about the premises shall be
needfull necessary or Convenient, holding and allowing for firme and Stable all and whatsoever my said
Attorneys shall lawfully doe or Cause to be done in or about the premises, by vertue of these presents. In
witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal this 9th day of May anno. 1691.

Mr. Miles: Gray and Samuel: Worthington this day came in Court and by Recognizance did become bound
to their Maties Viz the said Eliz: in the Sum of tenn pounds Sterling money of England & the said Gray
and Worthington in the Sum of five pounds a piece, due to be leavied on their goods & Chattels lands and
Tennements for their Maties &ca.
The Condition of the abovesaid Recognizance is Such that if the above bound Eliz: be of the good behaviour
and abearance to all their Maties liege People of this Province as also pay her fine & fees then the said
Recognizance to be void and of none effect, Otherwayes to be and remain in full power force & vertue -

Richard: Chambers & Wm: Currey pr Recognizance Obliges themselves that John: Cary shall appear the next County
Court to be holden the Second tuesday in June, to answer what shall be Objected agt him ye sd Cary on behalfe
of their Maties. The sd Cary was Ordered into Sheriffs Custody till he gave ye foresd Security
Courts adjourned till tomorrow 9 a Clock
