Coll Henry Darnall Agent for ye Right Honarable ye Lord Baltamore in this province having
this Day produced to this Board an Authentick Duplicate of an Order of Councill att White
Hall Dated ye Six & twentieth Day of ffebry 1690. Directing ye paymt. of One Moiety of ye
two Shillings pr hhd. Impost. & ye fourteen pence pr tonn Port Duties on all Tobaccoes Ex=
=ported out of this province ye Sd Lord Baltamore or his Agents. -- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
It is therefore Resolved and hereby Ordered yt ye afforesd moiety of two Shillings pr hhd. on
all tobaccoes to be Exported out of this province together with ye port Duties of 14d pr tonn
be accordingly Hence forth answered & made Good to ye Sd Coll: Henry Darnall or his Depty
for his Lorsps use, & that ye Collectrs Navall Officers, or other prSons Whatsoever any way
Concerned any wayes Concerned in ye Entring & Clearing of Ships or Vessells & Collection
of their maties Duties here, Doe not hereafter Cleare any Ships or Vessells Without a
Certificate from ye Sd Coll: Darnall or his Dep.tyes afforesd ( of having Done as afforesd)
first had & obtained Provided allwayes ye Sd Coll Darnall Doe appoint a Convenient
place or Office for Masters to apply themselves to.for their Discharge in ye Particular and Give
Due attendance by himselfe or Deputies there for ye Dispatch of Such Shipps &ca. that they may
not Upon that account be any wayes Molested Stopped or Delayed
